So far it has been quite mild in SW Ontario. Global warming is probably the cause, it has been kicking for quite a while, but now it's getting noticible for about everyone. Like being hit by a 2 by 4. Some still don't get it... Money money money, is all what counts for them. I know, we need the economy to work, but later on the economy will fade by what will be happening. The book right now seems to balance, but if you take all into account, it is severely out of wack.
Personally I don't mind it to be not so cold here. I would love to have longer summers. But I am very concerned about the consequences up North, polar bears etc.
What about the penguins in the far South? No one seems to mention them. "Happy Feet" addresses the overfishing problems, but not what happens to those poor rocket birds (ever seen them "flying" under water? They're like arrows, amazing!) if it all warms up.
Hmmm, just know... I am just testing this blog to see if it is possible to set this up as a website of some sort for friends who don't know HTML.
Seems not too bad really.. I think I like it already. Need to check out wiki.... if that is anything better..
